Chelsea star Nicolas Anelka has revealed that he was planning to quit playing for France before this summer's troubled World Cup finals. Anelka was at the centre of the playing revolt which engulfed France's doomed campaign in South Africa.The Chelsea striker was kicked out of the France team after a 2-0 defeat against Mexico for insulting coach Raymond Domenech at half-time.
